Caddel Excavating & Septic is a family-owned excavation and septic company serving North and South Carolina since 2021. We handle septic system installation, land grading, site preparation, excavation, and underground utility work for homes and businesses.
There are no layers of middlemen and no crews of strangers. When you hire Caddel, the man who owns the company is the one in the machine.
Owner Joseph Caddel brings 25 years in the trade and a licensed septic installer’s eye to every job. Matt handles estimates and walks your property before anything starts, and Tim Gresl runs our South Carolina work.

South Carolina
On-Site Wastewater Installer License #OSWWI0812 (Tier 2), issued to Caddel Excavating & Septic by the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services. Valid through June 30, 2027.
